Singapore Bird is a Wedgwood continuation of the Adams' original pattern Singapore Bird when Wedgwood purchased Adams on January 1st 1966. The Micratex body features a red geo pattern border with sections of flowers and a colourful bird perched on the branch of a tree with connecting blooms and leaves. The popular design remained in production under Adams under Wedgwood until early 1984 when Britain’s cleaner air requirement came into affect and all Calyx Ware pieces ceased to be made.
